You should make a concerted effort to read as many of these as possible, reading actively for things such as POV, story structure, character development, etc.

I have to say that I really enjoyed reading Lydia's Body! The tension never seemed to die from beginning to end. I am so glad that you told us to read this because I thought that it was excellent.
